Our Client is a strong growing Global Hidden Champion in Munich and part of a very successful international group. He is market leader with his portfolio of OEM products for many medical device manufacturer.

To further strenghten the business and to develope new business opportunities our client is looking for a Director Global Marketing and Product Management.

These tasks await you:

  • Providing leadership to marketing and product management team globally as a member of the senior management team
  • Developing and executing ambitious strategies and business plans in close collaboration with sales and R&D to exceed business growth and profit objectives
  • Taking responsibility for the curent and future product portfolio in terms of road maps, positioning, market pricing strategy, costing, product performance and profitability
  • Improving web presence and fostering social media sales and marketing activities
  • Monitoring and reporting on trends, industry needs, new business opportunities, customer preferences, industry brand awareness, product development opportunities and competitive activity
  • Working with the Business leaders to establish promotion calendar for product line and facilitates advertising and product promotions to increase exposure and growth in the marketplace
  • Initiating support as necessary for enhanced technical understanding, training, applications and market/account penetration

These are your professional qualifications:

  • 10 years plus experience in marketing & product management
  • Proven multi-cultural people leadership experience and track record of team development
  • Experience with social media platforms, salesforce.com, Marketto & marketing automation
  • Demonstrable strategic thinking / planning and creative problem solving ability
  • Demonstrated success in positioning & launching different products
  • Experience in the medical devices market, understanding how medical devices are sold
  • Proven ability to influence and pragmatically negotiate with cross functional teams
  • Calm under pressure and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Multinational / region corporate experience
  • Bachelor in Marketing or Mechanical Engineering or MBA
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • English, German and another European language preferred
  • Local and international travel
